WE HAD A WATER LEAK AT THE INDOOR RANGE. THE LINE HAS BEEN PATCHED. THERE IS CLEANUP WORK ONGOING IN THE MEETING ROOM. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF DETERMINING THE AMOUNT OF DAMAGE AND THE EXTENT OF THE REPAIRS. A WORK PARTY MAY BE NEEDED TO DO SOME CLEAN UP. CHECK BACK FOR DETAILS.

WE NEED TO BE CONCIOUS OF OUR DIRECTION OF FIRE AND TARGET LOCATION. WE ARE GETTING HITS ON THE DEFLECTOR SHIELD (LANES 2, 4 AND 6) AND WE HAVE HAD A CEILING TILE(S) GETTING HIT (LANE 4). THESE HAVE OCCURED DURING THE LAST TWO SHOOT NIGHTS.

THEY ARE CAUSED BY LACK OF MUZZLE MANAGEMENT, LACK OF TARGET AQUISITION, IMPROPER TRIGGER CONTROL OR JUST NOT  PAYING ATTENTION.

PLEASE HELP US KEEP OUR RANGE FREE OF DAMAGE.

MOWING WILL BE DONE ON WEDNESDAY 4 PM

We are raffling off a gas grill. The raffle will run through the open house. This will make a perfect Christmas gift for the Grill Master in your family. 

The tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.  See picture above.

The grill is donated by Green Acres Power Sports in Glen Dale, WV.

The deflector shield has been painted YELLOW to better see it from the shooting stalls. Shooters are required to ensure the target is below the shield so as not to shoot the ceiling tiles. 

The Outdoor range closes at 7:30 pm.

Rifle Range Closed October 1st and 2nd for Marshall County Sheriff's Department

The Bow shoots have concluded for the year. Thank you to everyone who came out and took advantage of the bow range.

Reminder that the meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month. Please try to attend to see what is happening at your range. You can also email us with ideas to improve the club and how you are able to help.

Range work is still in progress. As of today, volunteers have replaced the backstop curtains, replaced half of the ceiling tiles, painted the deflector shield and general building cleanup. If you would like to help stop by the range to find out how you can help your range be better.

We will be starting our summer hours in May. We will be open the second week (meeting week) and the fourth week of the month. See Calendar for dates.
