REGULAR INDOOR RANGE HOURS ARE NOW MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS 5:30 PM TO 8 PM.

REMINDER THE DOOR LOCKS AT 7:30 PM

CLUB MEETINGS

NOMINATIONS FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS WAS HELD AT THE OCTOBER 13TH MEETING.

THERE WERE NINE INDIVIDUALS THAT ACCEPTED THE NOMINATION FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

SINCE THERE IS NO CONTESTED POSITIONS THES NINE INDIVIDUALS ARE DULY ELECTED TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

THEY ARE:

3-year term - Tim Tasker, Kevin Haught & Dave Bell

2-year term - Roy Clouston, Jim Blake & Joe Baker

1-year term - Troy LeBoeuf, John Snyder & Roger Lagowski

THESE GENTLEMEN WILL BEGIN THEIR DUTIES ON JANUARY 1, 2027.

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING MEMBERSHIPS FOR THE 2027 CALENDAR YEAR

RIFLE RANGE -- urgent update

ALCOHOL AND DRUG USE IS NOT PERMITTED PRIOR TO OR DURING RANGE USE. VIOLATORS WILL BE REFFERED TO THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT.

NO VEHICLES ARE PEMITTED ON THE OUTDOR RANGES. THIS INCLUDES FOUR-WHEELERS, TRUCKS, CARS AND SIDE-BY-SIDES. THIS IN NOT AN INCLUSIVE LIST. THIS DAMAGES THE GROUNDS AND MAKES MOWING DIFFICULT. ANYONE FOUND DRIVING ON THE RANGES WILL BE DIMISSED FROM THE CLUB.

UPDADED STEEL TARGET SAFETY RULES

RULES FOR SHOOTING ON STEEL TARGETS: * Always wear wrap-around eye protection and proper hearing protection * Always wear a hat with a brim large enough to protect the front of the head and face * Long pants and long sleeves are recommended * Always use high quality steel targets specifically designed for heavy duty use * Never use steel targets for purposes outside their scope of design * Never use ammunition that exceeds the target’s scope of design * Minimum recommended distance with a handgun and standard lead ammunition is 7 yards * Minimum recommended distance with a rifle is 100 yards unless using our specific rifle targets * * Minimum recommended distance with shotgun slugs is 100 yards Maximum ammunition velocity is 1,500 fps for handgun targets and 3,000 fps for rifle targets * Never use armor-piercing, steel-core, or other hardened ammunition * Never use steel shot, pellets, BB’s, or other air gun projectiles * Spectators must also wear proper eye and ear protection and must remain at least 10 yards from the target * Never shoot on steel targets that have been damaged or deformed in any way

REMEMBER TO CHECK THE CALENDAR PRIOR TO USING THE INDOOR RANGE. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO THE BOW SHOOTS.

NO SHOOTING ON BOW NIGHTS OR CLASS DAYS.

UPDATED RULES AND FORMS ARE NOW IN PLACE FOR THE GOLD AND PLATINUM MEMBERS TO USE.

GUEST PASSES CAN NOW BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE AT THE INDOOR RANGE DURING OPEN SHOOT NIGHTS ONLY (MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS).

RIFLE RANGE UPDATE

THE RIFLE RANGE WILL BE CLOSED OCTOMBER 22 9 AM TO 4 PM FOR SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT QUALIFICATIONS.

THE RIFLE RANGE WILL BE CLOSED OCTOBER 28, 9 AM TO 2 PM FOR MOUNDSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT QUALIFICATIONS.

THE OUTDOOR RANGE WILL NOW CLOSE AT 6:00 PM. THERE IS TO BE NO SHOOTING AFTER 7:30 PM.

BREAKING THIS TIME RULE WILL BE GROUNDS FOR MEMBERSHIP REVOCATION.

PLEASE PICK UP AFTER YOURSELF. USED TARGTS, STANDS, BRASS AND TRASH NEED TO BE CLEANED UP PRIOR TO LEAVING. THE DUMPSTER AT THE INOOR RANGE IF FOR THIS TRASH.

YELLOW DEFLECTOR SHIELD

The deflector shield has been REPAINTED YELLOW to better see it from the shooting stalls. Shooters are required to ensure the target is below the shield so as not to shoot the ceiling tiles.
